Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the person using it to raise the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is meant to raise personnel is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a strap or chain is utilized to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
