End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have great performance features which are quite like sit-down electric lift truck models.
These forklift units are great for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space required to use these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck needs. These machinery are an excellent option for applications which require frequent on and off access, as their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading device used by various companies who maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for those who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require yet in a way which is safe and efficient.
The basic reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also have a hydraulic setup which enables the driver to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only offers more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the forks to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Typically, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
