SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for over 12 years within the United States market place. Different industries like for instance Waste to Energy, Scrap handling, Steel Mills, as well as many other material handling facilities including Bulk Transfer Facilities presently using our grabs and buckets to accomplish their jobs.

Peiner's design philosophy has continually revolved around the idea of producing grabs which deal with the biggest volume instead of grab dead weight. Typically, the grab and bucket lifting ratio's meaning that 60 percent of material is dead weight versus 40 percent grab dead weight. This translates into moving more quantities of supplies quicker. There is less wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related parts. Through a combination of manufacturing with high quality materials and innovative design, the desirable weight ratio is obtained.

Grab sizes will range from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to meet the needs of the customer.
