FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in 1920. This family run company, FMgru, is found in the largest industrial place within northern Italy. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
During 1963, the company started crane production. The company eventually invested all of their financial resources and human resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru now makes and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These equipments are designed and engineered for various uses and there are available models which could cover all construction requirements.
FMgru has several really flexible lifting options for smaller companies working on private homes and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and offer 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Topless tower cranes are among their other models. These cranes have upto 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and extremely adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are standard tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are great for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These kinds of cranes are specially designed to work in tight sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are situated near each other.
