Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are really vital, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, many attachments have been designed and developed like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to position loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being developed and designed all the time and would debut in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
